A new book by Mandy MacPhee

Out of Order

How Wealth Firms Earn Trust

Trust gets granted in order. A prospect decides whether to notice a firm, then whether the firm understands their problem, then whether to believe it. Only after all of that do they hand over their statements and their family’s future.

When a firm asks for more than a prospect has decided to give, the prospect stops answering, and the CRM records them as “not ready.”

Out of Order shows the leaders of wealth firms where that happens across the whole relationship, from a stranger’s first look at the website to the heirs who inherit the account. Coming January 2027.

What’s inside

  • Why referral-grown firms have trouble seeing the first steps a stranger has to take, and what that costs them when referrals slow.

  • What a prospect checks before they call, including the advisor’s own profile in search results.

  • How the order of a firm’s asks, from the first email to the document request, decides who becomes a client.

  • Short working tools a firm with no marketer can run on its own.

About ninety pages, written to be read in one flight.

Who it’s for

Written for the principals, CEOs, COOs and senior advisors who decide how a wealth firm grows.
